About the Role
We are hiring a dependable, hard-working Waterproofing & Foundation Repair Laborer to join our team in Stow, Ohio. We specialize in residential basement waterproofing and foundation stabilization, and we believe in rewarding reliable crew members who show up every day ready to work.
Starting pay is $21.00/hour. For individuals who demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, and an eagerness to master the trade, there is clear room for regular pay increases—our seasoned laborers earn well above the starting rate.
Schedule & Hours:
Shift: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Report to the shop in Stow, OH every morning promptly at 7:30 AM; transportation to and from jobsites is handled via company work trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with foundation stabilization installations, including steel wall anchors, helical piers, I-beams, and carbon fiber wall straps.
-Perform interior and exterior basement waterproofing tasks, such as breaking concrete, installing drainage tile, and setting sump pump basins.
-Safely operate demolition hammers, rotary hammer drills, and hand excavation tools.
-Handle site setup, material staging, hand digging, backfilling, and jobsite cleanup.
-Follow all company safety standards and work effectively alongside the foreman and crew.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-Valid Driver’s License: Required.
-Reliable Personal Transportation: Must have a dependable way to get to the shop in Stow on time every morning (7:30 AM sharp).
-Physical Capability: Able to perform demanding physical construction labor daily, including lifting 60+ lbs, kneeling, bending, and working in basement or outdoor settings.
-Punctuality & Reliability: Showing up on time every day is essential.
-Work Ethic: Strong attitude, coachable mindset, and willingness to learn specialized trade skills.
-Experience in concrete, masonry, landscaping, or general construction labor is a plus, but we will train anyone with the right attitude and drive.
