Type: INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR 1099

Our client is seeking a 5th Grade Special Education Math Teacher in Paterson, NJ.

Compensation - $52+ per hour.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TSD) endorsement plus appropriate initial certification.
• Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities, preferably in an elementary school setting.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:

• Teach 5th grade math using differentiated instruction and appropriate accommodations.
• Develop and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction in math.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate instructional records.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to support student goals.
